About Gary

Meet Gary Graves — entrepreneur, glass artist, and tenured professor. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing, an MBA with an emphasis on marketing and technology management, and a Master of Arts in Modern Art History, Theory, and Criticism.

In 1996, Gary founded Graves Communications LLC, a marketing and advertising company that has helped businesses of all sizes — financial service companies, credit unions, political candidates, non-profits, and art entrepreneurs — elevate their brands. Graves Gallery is his creative studio: a small glassblowing practice where every bowl, paperweight, and sculpture is shaped by hand in the flame.

As a full-time professor of business management at Fullerton College, Gary teaches Entrepreneurial Mindset, Principles of E-Business, Small Business Management, Principles of Advertising, and Creativity Matters! — inspiring students at the intersection of business, technology, and art.

Gary's love of art extends to children's books: his first, Meet Chippy the Cheetah, is available right here in the shop.

Every June, Gary rides in the AIDS/LifeCycle — a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles benefiting HIV/AIDS services and prevention education.
